Another Hot Night in Havana – a short story

Coi3_whVUAQNCTa

She danced alone, swaying her hips to the erotic samba rhythm. It was hot, so hot—both her and the temperature of the steamy tropical night. Her eyes were closed in complete indifference to the people surrounding her as sweat trickled down her chest and into the deep channel between her luscious breasts. I was mesmerized, as were all the men in the room. I wanted to lick the droplets of sweat from her naked breasts and press my body against her undulating hips. Her nipples were standing out beneath the flimsy dress that barely covered her and I yearned to take them in my mouth as I explored the sweet cheeks of her bottom with my hands.

“Forget it.”

I turned sideways to where an old man was sitting, alone like me.

“She’ll take you out back and make sweet love to you, sure. But you’ll come back minus your wallet, believe me.”

I turned back towards the woman, whose hands were now pressed against her thighs, pulling the dress further up her legs. It seemed to me that she was inviting me in, drawing my eyes to her smooth, shapely legs. I turned back towards the old man.

“Believe me, I know. I was here last summer. She had the lot—driver’s licence, five hundred dollars, credit card. This time I came with a cheap plastic wallet and a hundred bucks. She’s welcome to that. For that body of hers I’d willingly lose it.”

I stood to walk towards the woman, my body pulsing with need, but was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. It was the old man.

“Sorry, buddy. For a hundred you don’t even get within five yards of her.”

It seemed she now had a ‘minder’ and he was calling the shots.

“So what would it take to have a private dance with her, somewhere nearby? Just the two of us?”

He looked me up and down—no doubt assessing me to see how much money he could squeeze from me.

“You’ll need a lot more than a hundred bucks, buddy. You can have a half hour for two-fifty. And I stand outside the door in case you’re trouble.”

I looked again at the voluptuous beauty just a few yards away, weighing up whether I wanted to spend the other money I’d stashed in my sock. I decided to play the long game.

“Not sure I want to pay that price. I’ll just buy me a drink and watch her dance.”

I moved to a table next to the dance floor, and ordered a whisky.

The girl still had her eyes closed, but she sashayed a little closer to my table, clearly aware of my presence. I doubted that she would remember me. A hundred guys had probably passed this way since I was last here.

She turned away from me so I could see her firm, round bottom undulating beneath the dress. I refrained from the temptation of reaching out and touching her, not keen on being thrown onto the street, probably with a broken nose. She was clearly advertising her wares and I was becoming uncomfortably aware of her effect on me.

The man sidled up to the table, keen to make a deal.

“Special rate, since you had a bad experience last time. Let’s say two hundred bucks, and I’ll throw in an extra ten minutes too.”

I turned to look at the old man, who was unshaven and dressed in frayed jeans and a slightly grubby white t-shirt. He didn’t look like a pimp. I shook my head.

“Nah! I’ll just watch tonight. Maybe I’ll come back tomorrow.”

The man looked disappointed, but backed away. I ordered a second whisky and leaned back in the chair. The music changed to yet another Latin rhythm. The fan above the dance floor rotated slowly, as though it too was worn out by the heat. It barely even moved the air.

The woman opened her eyes and looked straight into mine. She smiled gently with plump, luscious lips that I pictured clamped around my hardening cock, before turning away once again. She seemed to know that her rear view was mesmerising to me—her selling point. I wondered if she would let me spank her. I could almost hear the crisp crack of my hand contacting that lovely bottom.

The man returned. This time he looked a little desperate.

“Okay, you win. Times are hard. A hundred dollars for a half hour.”

I nodded my acceptance.

“Follow me.”

I followed the man through a door and down a corridor to a small room whose only furniture was a bed, a chair and a sink in the corner. He stood in the doorway as I surveyed the room. The sheets looked clean, at least.

He held out his hand. “Money up front. She’ll be along in a minute.”

I took the hundred dollars from my wallet and handed it over. The man counted it and left, closing the door behind him. I wondered if I’d been a fool. There was no guarantee the girl would come.

Oh she came all right. The door opened and she leaned against the door frame, the sweat of her dancing making her dress cling to her body.

“Hi, honey. I heard you wanted to see me.”

She smiled—a gloriously full smile, revealing a perfect set of white teeth, and walked towards me, sashaying those hips and making me instantly hard. The anticipation sent an electric current through my body. I was in for a treat.

She closed the door behind her and came to meet me. I found my voice at last. “You looked so sexy on the dance floor.”

She smiled. “I try my best. You got the money?”

I was startled. “I already paid the old man.”

“What old man? I don’t have a pimp. I’m strictly a lone operator. It’s one hundred and fifty for half an hour, two hundred dollars for an hour.”

I groaned inwardly. Not again! I really was a sucker. But I reached down to my sock for my reserve supply. There wasn’t a chance I was going to leave now. I handed over two hundred dollars. I planned to get my money’s worth.

Welcome again to the weekly blog where a group of writers get together and share snippets of 8 – 10 lines from their work, for others to read and comment. Once you have seen mine, why not pop along to the site (www.wewriwa.com) to see what others have written.

I am again taking an excerpt from my book Out of the Darkness, an erotic romance. Marianne, a beautiful and successful model appears to have a charmed life, but has faced struggles that are often overlooked by those who envy her success and lifestyle. She longs to find love, and someone who won’t let her down, as other men have done. One day, when she is in her mid-twenties, she meets a man in the First Class departure lounge, waiting for her New York flight. She feels drawn to him immediately. (Slight punctuation amendment to fit the rules.)

“So, Marianne, what takes you to New York, work or pleasure? Or perhaps the two come together for you.”

“Mainly work, although I am hoping to do a little shopping while I’m there. And you—work, I suppose?”

“Yes, but I never overlook the need for a little pleasure too. Life is too short for all work and no play. As someone once said, very few men on their deathbed say that they wished they had spent more time at the office—is that not true, Marianne?”

I loved the way he looked directly at my face as he spoke my name, even though he was sitting alongside. He gave me his complete attention, unlike many men who seemed to look everywhere but my face when they were talking to me. I often thought I should have a second pair of eyes on my breasts, so men could look at both at the same time.

So has Marianne finally found the man she has been looking for?

Out of the Darkness is an erotic romance, with elements of Dominance/submission between the characters involved. I am staying with my recent release, Out of the Darkness, an erotic romance. I am leaving the burgeoning romance of last week, and jumping ahead a few years. Sadly the romance between Marianne and Chad is over. Marianne is alone again and ruminates on her life so far. (Slight punctuation changes to conform to rules.)

I’m not sure that even I know the real me. My life had changed so often since I’d been ‘discovered’ at the tender age of fifteen, while walking down the King’s Road in Chelsea, and within two years I was pictured on the covers of all the glossy magazines. It all happened so quickly—one day I was a fairly ordinary London schoolgirl, and the next I was travelling the world and being wined and dined by the world’s glitterati. Then there were the men—mostly, they were older, successful and wealthy men who bought me champagne and dinner and then thought they owned me. Some of them were very powerful, men you would not want to cross for fear of the consequences. A few were kind, but many were not. I sometimes wondered if the fault lay with me. Did I do or say things to attract the wrong type of man? Did I give off the wrong vibes, or was I simply unlucky? I had no idea.

I am continuing with my latest release, Out of the Darkness. Marianne, a top model with a poor track record of picking men, meets a photographer called Chad. Their attraction for each other is immediate. They discover that they both come from the same part of London, although Chad is quite a lot older.

“We were practically neighbors then. I was brought up at Manor House, just up the road—although, I have to say that you left Finsbury Park before I was even born.”

“You really know how to flatter a guy, don’t you,” he said dryly. “Let him know how ancient he is when he is in the presence of probably one of the most desirable women in New York right now.”

I laughed. “Oh, I don’t buy into all that crap. I’m the face of the moment. Pretty soon, there will be a younger and prettier girl to take my place. Then someone will spot me and see a couple of wrinkles on my face and say, ‘Didn’t that used to be Marianne Delaney? Boy, she sure has let herself go, hasn’t she?'”

I am continuing with Out of the Darkness. Chad, the photographer, is showing Marianne around the exhibition of his work. She makes a discovery.

We came to a group of four photographs of a nude woman. She wasn’t very young— probably around forty—but she was beautiful and very sensual. The photographs were black and white, with a mixture of light and shade. I knew, without any doubt, that the woman was, or had been, his lover. She looked at the camera, or more likely, the man behind the camera, with such love it almost radiated out of the picture.

But there was another powerful message coming from the pictures, one that not everyone might pick up on. The woman was his submissive. I was certain about that. I turned to look at Chad’s face as he looked at the pictures and, almost without thinking, I whispered to him.

“You were her Master.”

Some Amazon Reviews:

“This is certainly not a run of the mill B.D.S.M type novel. This is a book of exquisite tenderness and a beautifully described relationship that really moved me. Marianne a young model has to go through so much to find true love. A very thoughtful, evocative but sexy read.”

“A sumptuous, wonderfully written love story between a young lover who lost her partner and finally finds another. A Romeo and Juliette love story with interesting characteristics and magnificent sensual love scenes. Love lost and re-found. To quote the author “I had come out of the despair of darkness and into the hope and optimism of the eternal sunshine.”

Welcome to another week of Weekend Writing Warriors, when a group of authors post snippets of their work for others to read and comment. When you’ve read this, why not go and see what other authors are writing. (www.wewriwa.com)

I am continuing with Out of the Darkness. Marianne, a famous model, is helped to escape from over-zealous fans in an art gallery, by a man who turns out to be the photographer who is the star of the exhibition. They share a drink in a nearby bar and Chad, the photographer, invites her to return with him to the gallery for a private showing, now the people have left. (Slight punctuation change to stay within the remit.)

We walked past endless shots from the many countries and cultures that Chad had visited over the last ten years, and he kept up a fascinating description of his work. Some of the pictures were incredibly moving, while others were stunning in their simplicity. I wished that I could produce something as meaningful as that, rather than being paid a lot of money to stand around and wear expensive clothing or wearing very little, when the occasion demanded. But when I told Chad this, he dismissed my self-deprecation.

“Don’t knock what you do—you act out a beautiful dream for the man or woman looking at your performance, but you do not use words or movement like conventional actors. Your job is much harder. You have to convey the dream by a single look, a single pose—silent acting. Not many people can do that. Also, beauty is important in a world that is often ugly and cruel. It helps us to forget the ugliness, at least for a while.”

An interview with Marianne Delaney, world famous model.

girl on stairs Don't be afraid

Marianne Delaney is one of the most beautiful and photographed models in the world. She lives every young girl’s dream. Or does she? I interviewed the top model to find out all about her life.

Q.  Thank you for talking to me today. Can I start by asking you who is the real Marianne Delaney? You are not known for giving interviews to the press.

A.  I’m not sure that even I know the real me. My life had changed so often since I was ‘discovered’ at the age of fifteen, while walking down the King’s Road in Chelsea, and within two years I was pictured on the covers of all the glossy magazines. It all happened so quickly. One day I was a fairly ordinary London schoolgirl, and the next I was travelling the world and being wined and dined by the world’s glitterati. I think the real me is still the young girl who wonders what people see in me that I cannot see myself.

Q.  What is your background, Marianne—your family?

A.  I never knew my father. I used to make up stories about him as though I was inventing the father I would have liked. Perhaps it was the lack of a father that made me search for a fatherly figure in my life, a search that had only brought fleeting happiness. My mother was largely indifferent to me, and I left home when my stepfather started to bother me, sexually. I don’t have brothers or sisters, and I no longer have contact with any other family.

Q.  You must have met many interesting and handsome men as a top model?

A.  Mostly, they were older, successful and wealthy men who bought me champagne and dinner and then thought they owned me. Some of them were very powerful, men you wouldn’t want to cross for fear of the consequences. A few were kind, but many were not. I sometimes wondered if the fault lay with me. Did I do or say things to attract the wrong type of man? Did I give off the wrong vibes, or was I simply unlucky? I had no idea. One of my experiences was quite awful. He flew me from London to the South of France just for dinner, and I must admit I was bowled over by him. However, the price he extracted from me was more than I wanted to pay. I had a lucky escape from him.

Q.  So you didn’t find the man of your dreams?

A.  I thought I had when I met an older man, a photographer called Chad. He was dominant, sexually, and he first showed me the attraction of a BDSM lifestyle. He recognised the submissive in me. I had a wonderful time with him in New York. But it wasn’t to be. It was very sad—I don’t really want to talk about it.

Q.  Very well, I won’t press you. So when did you meet the man you are now with?

A.  Ah, William. He is wonderful. We met at Heathrow Airport. We were both travelling to New York. He came to sit next to me on the plane, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Q.  When did you know that he was the man for you?

A.  I was hugely attracted to him from the beginning. He’s twelve years older than me, and is the owner of a successful publishing company. He seemed a very powerful, charismatic man, but one who exercised his power in an understated way. I couldn’t imagine him losing his cool and shouting. Some sixth sense also told me that he was a dominant man, especially in bed, and perhaps I shouldn’t tell you this, but the thought brought a spasm and dampness between my legs.

Q.  That’s very frank of you, Miss Delaney. Might I ask if you are in what we call a D/s relationship? Or am I being too inquisitive?

A.  That’s all right. I’m not embarrassed to admit that we have that sort of relationship. But William is very loving and gentle too. He and I both enjoy a very ‘interesting’ private relationship. But he would never humiliate or abuse me in any way. Everything we do together is consensual. He fulfils a very deep need in me, and we love each other. If you want to know more, then you must read my book.

Juliette: It seems, Miss Delaney, that you don’t want to go into too much detail about your relationship, but I can see that you are happy. Thank you very much for talking to us. Perhaps your partner, William, would agree to be interviewed by us?

Marianne: I asked him, and he said “Not in a million years!” As you can see, he has very strong opinions on some matters.

Marianne has written about her life as a model, and here is a saucy snippet from her book, Out of the Darkness.

Her book can be found on Amazon (at the reduced price of 99c for the first week).

Excerpt:   (Warning: Erotic content. Over 18s only)

As we arrived in New York, William seemed anxious to continue what had been ignited between us. “So where are you staying in New York, Marianne?” I gave him a smile, withdrawing from my memories. “My agency has booked me into The Pierre on 5th Avenue. It’s where I usually stay when I come over.”
“Ah, that raises an interesting dilemma. I’m booked into the Plaza, the Royal Plaza suite, no less. It’s close to yours, but not close enough for me. My suite has three bedrooms. That would be one for me, one for you, and a third, which we could share, could we not? I think we could have a very pleasurable time together, Miss Marianne Delaney. Does that sound an interesting proposition to you?”

It sounded so much more than an interesting proposition. I wanted to be cool and collected and at least give the pretense that I was mulling it over, but the sheer power of his dominant masculinity was too much for me. I was lost. I didn’t need to say anything. William Northcroft already knew that I was his for the taking.

We checked through Customs and retrieved our luggage, and minutes later we were in the back seat of a limousine, gliding through the traffic from JFK airport towards Manhattan. William spoke to someone, probably his secretary, on his cell phone.

“Cassandra, can you contact the Pierre Hotel in New York and tell them that one of their guests, a Miss Marianne Delaney, will not be requiring the room she had booked. Would they please cancel the reservation and transfer any calls and enquiries to me at The Plaza. Yes, I have just arrived. Thank you.”

That business taken care of, William then turned his whole attention to me. “You called me ‘Sir’ on the plane. Was that intentional, or did it just slip out?”

“I… I suppose it just seemed natural to me,” I stammered. I had? I couldn’t remember.

“Good. You can continue to call me Sir if you wish. Or you can call me William. I don’t mind.”

My voice was reduced to almost a whisper. “Thank you, Sir.”

He reached over and took my hand. “I take it you’ve been in situations like this before?”
I refused to give in to the flush of tears, still fresh from my foray into memories.

“Well I… yes, I have, but not always with a good end result. I’m a little nervous, Sir.”
“And so you should be, Marianne. But don’t worry, you can trust me. I won’t take us anywhere you don’t want to go. You’ll be safe with me.”
He looked at me with his intense eyes and I felt safe. He was not another Leon.
“So, you like to play hard, do you? When you said that to me, my cock became rock hard, and it’s still hard now.”
He drew my hand across and placed it on his lap. He hadn’t exaggerated.
He leaned over and ran the back of his finger lightly down my cheek. “You really are exquisite. Some models look good from a distance, but don’t stand the test of close proximity. But you, Marianne, have the looks that could send a man insane. The lovely thing is that I don’t think you are even aware of the effect you have on a man, and particularly on his cock.”

He reached for the buttons at his side and immediately the glass panel between the driver and us became opaque.

“I think that perhaps you might relieve some of the pressure in my cock. Why don’t you

slide down here between my legs and put those luscious lips of yours around it.”

I didn’t hesitate. I wanted to give myself to this striking, charismatic man. We had only met hours before, yet my body was buzzing with excitement. I was his for the taking. I went down on my knees and gently removed his cock from his pants. It was big and thick and solid as a rock. I licked the tip and then swirled my lips around the end before slipping it into my warm, ready mouth. I heard a sigh from above but I didn’t look up. I was concentrating on giving this man the best blowjob I could give.
It lasted nearly all the way to the hotel, and I was impressed by William’s staying power. He timed it so that, just a block away from the Plaza, he exploded into my mouth and held himself there until I’d swallowed all his seed. I licked every last trace from his cock, and he then produced a clean handkerchief and bent over and wiped my face until, although a little flushed, my complexion was restored to cleanliness. Just at that moment the car glided to a halt outside the hotel. His timing had been immaculate.

“Well that is a much more pleasurable way to travel than looking at boring e-mails.” He smiled at me, and I knew that I was in for a very interesting few days in New York.

About Juliette Banks:

I write erotic romance as both Juliette Banks and Rachel de Vine, and love to write about sensual, romantic and erotic characters who lead interesting lives, and who often have to overcome challenges along the way. I prefer to write erotic romance, rather than straight erotica, because I am essentially a romantic person, but I also like to involve my characters in an exciting life of Dominance and submission at different levels.

I am British, love the rural life and live in a beautiful home in the middle of the rolling English countryside. I also like to travel around the world from time to time, and have visited some beautiful and exciting places on the way. I am forever grateful that I was born in a place and at a time to take advantage of the freedoms and pleasures that are still denied to many people of the world. We must never take such freedom for granted.

I’m continuing with a snippet from Out of the Darkness, an erotic romance book which has just come out. Last week, Marianne is recognised at a photographic exhibition and surrounded by people. She is rescued by a man who she takes to be a janitor. He suggests they go out the back way, and head for a nearby bar, where she discovers to her horror that she has dragged the photographer away from his own exhibition.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t realise…”

“No problem, I was getting sick of all the glad-handing anyway. You just gave me an excuse to leave. And you are, of course, the world-famous model, Marianne Delaney. I’m not a fashion photographer, but it would be hard not to notice your face looking down at me from every billboard around at the moment.”

“Sorry, yes, I have been doing the perfume ad. People must be so sick of seeing my face.”

“Well if I had to look at one face all day long, I guess it’s no great hardship if it happens to be yours,” Chad said, a smile on his lips.

“But you are clearly well known too, and I feel bad that I didn’t even know your name or recognize your face. You must think I lead a very shallow existence.”

Weekend Writing Warriors for August 13

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors, where a great group of writers get together and share 8 – 10 line snippets from their work for others to comment on. When you have read my snippet, why not pop along and read what other authors have to say? (www.wewriwa.com)

This snippet is again from my book Out of the Darkness, which is coming out on August 16. Last week Marianne, a world-famous model, goes to an exhibition of photographs in her new home of New York. Unfortunately she is recognised and approached by people wanting selfies and autographs. She tries to escape. (Slightly edited to conform.)

I was just about to make a dash for it when a hand firmly clamped on to mine and pulled me forcefully through a nearby door, which was then shut behind us, leaving the baying crowd— thankfully—on the other side. I looked to see who my rescuer was and came face to face with a rather scruffy man of about mid-forties, with tousled brown hair that was starting to turn grey, and a weather beaten face that looked as though he spent a lot of time outdoors. He was wearing an un-ironed check shirt and jeans. I wondered if I’d fallen out of the frying pan and in to the fire. Perhaps this guy was the mad janitor, who was kidnapping me for his own evil purposes?

I must have looked a little concerned, because his face broke into a broad smile.

“It’s okay, my intentions are honourable—I just thought you needed rescuing from the mob.”

I relaxed. The man looked benign, although I detected a slight glint in his eye. But over the years of modelling I had seen that look many times—friendly, but eyeing me up and trying to figure out if the rest of me was as good as the outside.

Anticipation is the key Man alone

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors, where a great group of writers get together and share 8 – 10 line snippets from their work for others to comment on. When you have read my snippet, why not pop along and read what other authors have to say? (www.wewriwa.com)

The snippet is again from my forthcoming release (on August 16) of Out of the Darkness. Last week, Marianne, a famous model, had a lucky escape from an over-enthusiastic devotee of kinky sex, who thought that her lack of protest was tantamount to her agreement. She decided to go and live in New York for a while. One evening she went alone to an exhibition of a well-known photographer’s pictures.

The exhibition was a retrospective of a number of years work by the world famous photographer, about whom I had heard but never met. I had heard that Chad Baker was quite reclusive and rarely appeared in public, so I was not expecting to meet him at the gallery.

The photographs were at times raw, shocking, thought provoking, and sometimes amusing. He covered a multitude of subjects—men, women, children, and sometimes just objects and landscapes. I was fascinated by them, and so engrossed that I didn’t notice a woman eyeing me from a few feet away, until she shrieked at the top of her voice, “Oh, my God, it’s Marianne Delaney.”

Suddenly, almost every pair of eyes in the room were zeroing in on me. The cool people pretended not to hear, or that they had no idea who I was, but many of the others, uninhibited by several glasses of champagne, began to move towards me, trying to chat to me as though they were my new best friend, or asking me to sign their programmes. Pretty soon I had a dozen people around me. I felt hemmed in and embarrassed for the exhibition organisers, who didn’t deserve such a distraction. Perhaps it was time I went?

The price of fame, hey! Tune in next week to find out how Marianne escapes from her over-enthusiastic fans (a problem that I am unlikely to experience!).
